On December 20th, you received a notice of motion for several amendments to your Local’s bylaws (you can click here to read the full proposal).  

 The set of proposed amendments to the Bylaws were collected from discussions with former members of the Executive Committee, current elected officers, Lead Stewards, and members of other committees from Summer 2022 and December 2024. These are the first amendments to the Local’s Bylaws since the significant amendments in March 2022. 

This is the second of two town halls we’re hosting on the Bylaw amendments to ask any questions and talk about how these bylaws help build your power!
