Thanks to all of Unit 5 members who filled in our professional development survey last month! We all know the woes of job searching and the difficulties of putting ourselves out there to employers. Post-docs identified professional development resources as one of the biggest gaps in servicing they experience at the U of T. Join us for an evening of learning and socializing!

When: Monday, 20 August, 5-6 PM (Workshop), 6-7 PM (Social)

Where: GSU Pub, 2nd floor, 16 Bancroft Ave

After the workshop, we’ll have the space until 7 PM for some mingling and networking. One free drink ticket upon entry. Snacks will be provided.

For post-docs who are not able to attend, but would like to participate remotely, we will be streaming the LinkedIn workshop. Register through this link and you will be able to view it from the comfort of your own home or desk on August 20: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/5745876635386297601

Preference will be given to post-docs who are members of CUPE 3902 Unit 5, but non-unionized post-docs are also welcome to attend if the workshop does not fill up. Please email organizer@cupe3902.org to RSVP.
