We’ve been working non-stop to get the best Collective Agreement we can.
On Wednesday, March 24th, hundreds of you participated in creative displays of solidarity at our Prepare to Strike actions throughout Toronto!
All your mobilizing work throughout the year and at Wednesday’s action has culminated in a possible Tentative Agreement that we spent the entire night afterwards (over 26 hours straight!) at the table to negotiate.
A summary of the possible Tentative Agreement is viewable here and the full text is available on MemberLink. Be sure to watch the Bargaining Update Video from Days 31-33, in which our Bargaining Committee recaps the progress we’ve made thus far and every member of the team shares how this agreement is personally meaningful them.
In order to make sure that you have an opportunity to look over our summary and analysis before we meet to decide to put the Tentative Agreement to a Unit-wide vote, we have postponed our Unit 1 Membership Meeting and it will now take place on Monday, March 29th, from 3-6 PM.
Please register now if you plan to attend Monday’s meeting and were not registered for the original meeting planned for last Thursday. If you were already registered for the previous meeting, your registration has been transferred to the new Monday time, and you can use the registration email you’ve already received to access the meeting.
